JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH 2021
This updated plan prioritizes protecting the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, members and staff while following current local, state, federal, CDC, ADA and PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) policies, procedures and guidelines.
Tentative plan in accordance with periodic status of pandemic
- Barn Team Volunteers as scheduled for horse care
- Sponsors for their personal riding time as scheduled
- HMM equipment used in lessons, workshops or by Sponsors sprayed with disinfectant after use
- Limit of 5 (five) people on property at one time who do not live together
- Social distancing adherence to guidelines necessary at all times
- Wearing of face coverings/masks when inside barn/office
- Any meetings conducted will be by appointment only
- No walk-ins or visitors until further notice
- Hand sanitizer is provided in the office and porta john
- Frequent hand washing encouraged
- New volunteers will be taken on slowly
The safety and well-being of our team and clients are our highest priority. Our current barn team will continue providing excellent care for our therapy horses and cats.
