Fall SESSION 2020
Our plan prioritizes protecting the health and safety of our participants, volunteers and staff while following current local, state, federal, CDC, ADA and PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) policies, procedures, protocol and guidelines. These guidelines include:
- Social distancing during all activities including grooming and tacking
- Face coverings/masks recommended when inside barn or office
- Limiting the amount of people on-site to 20 in outside common area, paddocks and pastures
- 2 family-members/caregivers per participant allowed during lessons
- Private and semi-private riding classes for independent and lead line riders only.
- Providing hand-sanitizer and soap and water station, regularly sanitizing
- All helmets and equipment, scheduling all appointments - no walk-in visitors, allowing.
- Hand-sanitizer will be provided inside and outside of facility
- Drinks/snacks provided for groups must be factory sealed before consuming
Working with the Instructors and Volunteers at Horses Make Miracles, I've come to realize a new dimension of Therapeutic Riding as a successful and positive treatment modality. I gained a great amount of knowledge from Linda's years of experience.
